[EHR](https://help.samacare.com/ehr?hsLang=en-us) September 16, 2026 # OncoEMR Integration Guide ## Connect SamaCare with OncoEMR through the FHIR API to access patient information and documents directly within SamaCare. #### What the integration supports Once your integration is active, you can: - Access live patient demographics - Access patient coverage information, including member ID and group ID - Download patient documents from OncoEMR into SamaCare without first saving them to your computer #### Before you begin You will need: - Access to your organization's OncoEMR account - Your organization's OncoEMR PIN - An authorized representative who can review and accept OncoEMR's FHIR API integration terms There is no fee for the integration, but OncoEMR requires your organization to sign an agreement before access can be enabled. --- ##### **Step 1: Find your OncoEMR PIN** 1. Sign in to **OncoEMR**. 2. Locate the **PIN** in the bottom-right corner of the page. 3. Email the PIN to **ehr\_accounts@samacare.com** **Don't see the PIN?** The PIN is only visible when OncoEMR is displayed on a larger monitor. Try maximizing your browser window or accessing OncoEMR from a larger screen. ##### **Step 2: Review the OncoEMR integration agreement** After SamaCare receives your PIN, our team will submit an official integration request to **OncoEMR (Flatiron)** through its Developer Portal. OncoEMR will then email your organization with its **FHIR API integration terms**. An authorized representative from your organization must review and accept the agreement before the integration can move forward. ##### **Step 3: Wait for activation** Once the agreement is signed, OncoEMR will provide SamaCare with the credentials needed to establish the connection. Activation typically takes **2–3 business days after SamaCare receives the credentials from OncoEMR**. Your SamaCare team will let you know when the integration is ready to use. #### Need help?
